Absolutely. Every Tuesday night at 3 Monkeys from 7 pm. We’re either up the back near the water cooler, or lately they’ve been seating us in the Turkish Room that’s just around the corner from the entrance

Hello!

I am a 26 year old, final year fashion student for QUT who is in search of a knitter to collaborate with.

I have designed a range of 2-3jumpers for a collection to be completed by year’s end and I need someone with the right skills to help me execute my designs (and where possible inject some of the fabric artist’s own personality in!).

I want to build a range that not only fits in with my concept but also showcases the talent of local fabric artists.

Could you make a suggestion of a few names of knitters within your association who I could approach about taking on the project? Please let them know all materials will be provided and I’m open to negociating a payment for their time, per garment created.

Any help you could provide would be invaluable.

Hi Miss Vicky and Co,
Great to see all of you, who were at st George Square on Wednesday. It was a lovely day with a lot of interest. It has been very hectic here at Biggan design during the last months trying to get new patterns and knitwear out, but must see that I get down to Three monkey’s soon. I’ve just been to tired in the evenings to go anywhere!
For you who don’t know already, Henrietta and I are going to show the Biggan Design Knitwear Collection and the many ways you can wear several of the garments at Tangled Yarns on Wednesday, June 8th, at 6:30-8:30pm. You will also get a chance to try on the garments afterwards. It would be lovely to see you there. Some nibbles and champagne will start the evening off. Welcome, BigganD
