This is the baby cardi I made for a friend, whose daughter was born 1st August.
Yarn: Cleckheaton Country Silk DK
Needles: 4mm Circ (knitted flat)
Pattern: Interweave Knits Summer 05
Modifications: Lots! The original pattern was all garter-stitch and used a 3-needle bind-off for the shoulder seams. I did a seed-stitch border with the body in stocking stitch, and did a kitchener stitch bind-off instead.

And the matching bootie socks!
Yarn: Cleckheaton Country Silk (remnant yarn missing a ply, equivalent to fingering weight)
Needles: 2.75mm DPNs
Pattern: Generic Toe-up short row toe and heel sock with 2×2 ribbed cuff

Too cute, too cute, too cute, too cute, too cute, too cute, too cute, too cute, too cute etc.
We obviously need to talk bind offs in a more serious way next week. I know you explained this once before, but… keh?
